You'll both have little time to be alone with your spouse on your big day. Try to make a moment after the ceremony for some quality time.
Start calling him/her "husband/wife" for the first time, admire your new wedding bands, and assure some TLC. Arrange with your Wedding Planner to have some hors d'oeuvres and drinks while your guests are at the cocktail hour, so you both can enjoy it as well.

Hire her now! She is the best and has a great personality and lots of experience - very important when you are planning a destination wedding!! Merylin is ridiculously good at what she does and her positive attitude radiates to all which makes the planning and day of craziness a complete bliss. I hired Merylin as my Day of Coordinator and she did a fabulous job at picking up after all of the planning I did and coordinate all of the vendors and day of activities. She is very positive and calm which makes the day of planning and last minute changes so easy to deal with. Merylin also coordinated her assistant to come to our rehearsal practice, which I was not expecting it, but I realize how important it was for her to be there and help us prepare for the ceremony. "As a Wedding Planner, what is the best advise you can give to couples?"
My answer will always be:
Enjoy the day of the Wedding to the FULLEST because everything goes by sooooo fast. Be fully mindful/present during the ceremony to take it all in: every word from your Officiant, the wedding vows, your guests' presence and your partner's emotions.
It's such a sentimental, romantic and joyful day next to your life partner, family and friends, that it's so worth to focus completely on enjoying it, being thankful and appreciative of it, so you can treasure it for an eternity.

Are you doing the "First Look" or are you both sticking with the tradition to meet for the first time at the alter?
Whatever the decision is, you both have to agree on it. More and more couples are putting aside the traditions, and are opting to do a first look because this gives them more time to do more portraits together, rather than rushing during the cocktail hour. Usually, couples that take time to do photos prior to the ceremony, will find time to join in with their guests at the Cocktail hour.
